1) Who is Mahatma Gandhi and what did he do?

He was an Indian leader who worked very hard for equal rights and fair treatment. He was very sympathetic with the poorer classes of  India and helped them to have better lives. Ghandi also led India to independence.

كان مهاماتا غاندي قائدا هنديا . و عمل بجد في المساواة في الحقوق و المعاملة العادلة. كان متعاطفا مع الطبقات الهندية الفقيرة و ساعدهم في الحصول على حياة أفضل.

2) Explain this quote mean.  وضح هذا الاقتباس

It means you should do as much as you can before you die. In other words, benefit of all chances in this life. If you have any skills, use them. if you are given the chance to do something, do it. Don't sit around waiting for something to happen and don't refuse to do things because you can’t be bothered.

إنه يعني أنك يجب أن تفعل ما تستطيعه قبل أن تموت. بمعنى آخر استفيد من الفرص في هذه الحياة. إذا كان لديك مهارات استخدمها. إذا أتيحت لك الفرصة لتفعل شيئا فافعله. لا تجلس منتظرا شيئا ليحدث و لا ترفض فعل شيء لأن لا تريد أن تقلق نفسك.

3) How can you learn as you were to live forever? What would you need if you were to live forever? كيف بإمكانك أن تتعلم و كأنك ستعيش للأبد؟ ماذا تحتاج لو كنت ستعيش للأبد؟

I need to keep learning in order to keep up with what's happening in the world. It’s not only school subjects that Gandhi is talking about. He is thinking about the changing world and how we need to keep up with it. So he is advising us to take advantage of everything there is and embrace learning in order to have a better life.

أريد أن أبقى أتعلم حتى أواكب ما يحدث في العالم. إن غاندي لا يتحدث عن المواد المدرسية فقط. إنه يفكر في تغيير العالم و كيفية مواكبته. لذا هو ينصحنا بان نستفيد من كل شيء موجود و أن نغتنم التعلم لنحصل على حياة أفضل.
